1. The Procurement Competency Model
The Procurement Competency Model portrays the key competencies (with associated behaviours) that are desired of staff conducting the procurement function within the BC government. A "competency" is the ability to do a specific task well.
The seven key competency clusters are:
- Planning
- Pre-award and Solicitation
- Award
- Administration and Monitoring
- Post-contract Evaluation
- Corporate Reporting
- Vendor Relationship Management
